As we all know, valuation like beauty is a matter of opinion

5% is far too low. He should have been more realistic in his valuation. Having said that, I didn't like Shaf's attitude.

In this case it seems to me that Chris has a potential goldmine with this product. If I had a spare £50k I would be knocking on his door to invest.

I totally understand your frustrations as I too would hate to lose my luggage. One question would be is this globally patented and trademarked otherwise what stops me from doing my own identical service?!

These really do work. You have a unique number on the tag which you register on line and if the bag is found the finder logs on and enters the number and a description of where the bag is. You can then reclaim it. Works well for lost item obviously not stolen ones !!

Pity he didn't clarify exactly what the product consists of. It looks like it's just a tag, which is pretty pointless as it could easily be removed by thieves.

Great idea, I lost my luggage in Athens last year and am still waiting for it back, anything that can help this situation - I'm in!

If he has sold 1.2m items as claimed why does he need £25,000?

Great idea.
I think this will be a great seller in the retail market especially as so many bags go missing nowadays.I would use one if I was going away.
Good Luck

You dont say how it works or what it does, what differentiates you?

Great pitch Chris. Very confident. Would have liked more information on the tracking system etc though so we have an idea as to what the possibilities are for this product in the retail world. Good Luck

It's good, he'll get an offer, but if I were him I'd want one of the retail specialists in the TV version of the den and I'd have been asking for say 50000 for 10% to qualify for that.

just a few thing of concern, firstly previous years net profit figure, the price per pack, company debt 5% too low, patent.
Finally if you really believed in the idea i am sure you could secure a bank loan or something 25k is not that much to find?
gl hope it works

sounds like a good idea. As others have mentioned - why can he not raise the cash himself after selling so many? I think he needs a retail advisor rather than an investor.
