Go for it Ash. I really don't want to know where your hands have been.

Enviromental Health are encouraging steps to reduce cross contamination in all food handling areas though not enforced at the moment regarding the possibilities of germs being passed on via shoppin trolleys. I reckon a hand disinfectant gel dispenser at the entrance with a notice to break the cross contamination chain would be sufficient to raise awareness so would encourage customers to use before they shop. In my opinion your pitch to raise awareness of germs is good but as a business - is not unless you were distributing hand sanitizers to all the supermarkets in UK with ur own brand which then the supermarkets would make repeat purchases for the refills.

Hello Ashley
Firstly let me apologise to you as a member of the public whom of whom the TV station is supposed to be my representative. (Public broadcasting service)
I cringed at the shows efforts to humiliate you without discussing the very important point regarding public hygiene that you have brought to people’s attention, The shows formula and presentation was nasty and extreme, and a pure waste of humorous and thought provoking material.
Your idea I felt was much more worthy of exploring than the 'lifestyle' subjects brought to the den and has significance worldwide, even more so in developing countries. The show in the right hands, would be a great opportunity for hilarious fun and little stimulating discussion.
Instead they chose to put the presenter in the depressed school bully role. Trying to hide the intelligent pupils creative ideas, he mocked them mercilessly to death, and looked sulky faced out to the mass audience. as if in a effort to convey his destructive message and seek consensus. It was a sad show.
(The producers seemed terrified that any validation of the inventors ideas, would take away their sniggering power)
Good luck Ashley I hope your work never becomes effected by the low grade stuff people offer as cleverness and humour. (that includes in the postings as well)
Real hilarity is a much more complex and rewarding than that.
Best Wishes

That's the risk of entering the show, but the rewards would be great. I think the message they were trying to get over was the standard of the initial pitch. It almost looks like a first attempt. If you are serious about entering and asking highly regarded individuals for their money, surely you should produce a pitch to match the quality of your product. Although this is a raw pitch, first impressions are everything and he had nearly an additional minute to spare too. It's not a bad idea and wish him luck with it.

Highly regarded individuals? everybody is a highly regarded individual in our society.
You are fooling yourself if you think every thinking or educated person will agree with your dizzyheaded programme makers propaganda.
In a crucial time when the BBC is fighting to hold onto its licence fee funding, it will not see that online dragon production team or its supervisors as an asset. The BBC have not been prompted to sanity, just yet.
Enjoy your rollercoaster ride of 'Lack of accountability' for a while, because it is not going to last long.
That is what I would say to them.
Those gentle and good people soon will have a voice I am sure. Whatever made the production team think that a group of ‘unpolished’ inventors would be a safe bet, to shamelessly exploit.
Everything changes when a programme maker goes beyond a ‘limit‘.
It is an important word in our society!
The people who aired the show are fooling themselves right now.
