Easter in DorsetHoly Week is a busy time for churches in Dorset, starting on Palm Sunday, the day when Jesus entered Jerusalem on a donkey to be greeted by huge crowds. Many churches are holding Palm Sunday processions. On Maundy Thursday, congregations will be taking part in a Passover meal to mark the Last Supper. On Good Friday itself, Christians will be attending church to reflect on the crucifixion and what that means to their faith. That’s ahead of a day of celebration on Easter Sunday. last updated: 05/03/2008 at 13:14 |
