All about Pudsey

He's been the BBC Children In Need mascot for more than 20 years, and last year Pudsey Bear got a brand new look. Find out more about the famous charity bear.

Pudsey Bear has been an important part of the BBC Children in Need campaign for more than 20 years.

Pudsey made his debut in 1985, and has appeared with countless celebrities ever since.

He's now the BBC Children in Need's mascot, official logo and a registered trademark.

Royalties from the sale of all Pudsey merchandise benefit the charity.

Last year saw his first major redesign since he became the charity's official logo in 1986, meaning the cuddly bear has now well and truly entered the digital age.

The new look was part of the BBC Children in Need's fundraising campaign for last year, called 'Do Something Different'.

The theme for Children in Need 2008 is still yet to be revealed.
