Dorset has a rich heritage of historic buildings including castles, churches, country houses and its famed thatched cottages. These buildings give a distinctive character to our towns, villages and countryside. Inspired by David Dimbleby's tour of Britain's buildings, we want to build a photo gallery showing the best of Dorset's architecture. So we need your help! All you need to do is choose your favourite building, take a snap shot of it and we'll add it to our online gallery. Your favourite building could be Corfe Castle or the Abbey Barn in Abbotsbury. It really doesn't matter which building you choose as long as it's in Dorset and means something to you. The photo needs to be taken with a digital camera and saved as a JPG file. One you've imported the photo into your PC simply attach it to an email and send it to: dorset@bbc.co.uk

Once you've sent in your photo, keep an eye out on the How We Built Britain section for a new gallery to see if yours has been added. |
