Unearthing a Bride Valley Legend

Walter Brewster, his daughter Rosi and David Powell explain a local legend and perform a song which has been adapted from a traditional campsong dating back to the Napoleonic War.

The song, performed by David Powell and Rosi Brewster, originated from the Napoleonic Wars, and was sung by Burton Bradstock Volunteers who helped thwart the French.

Here, Walter explains the legend and speaks to the performers too.
