The winners of the BAFTA Television Craft Awards have been announced with Doctor Who scooping two of the prestigious awards.

Philip Kloss picked up the award for Editing: Fiction/Entertainment for Midnight and The Mill triumphed in the Visual Effects category for their astonishing work on The Fires of Pompeii.

The Special Award went to the BBC's former Controller of BBC Fiction, Jane Tranter, one of the team responsible for the return of Doctor Who. This award was presented by the Doctor himself - David Tennant - whilst the host for the evening was Alexander Armstrong, the voice of Mr Smith in The Sarah Jane Adventures.
