London's West End is calling - and Catherine Tate has answered.
Catherine will be appearing at the play Under The Blue Sky at the Duke Of York's Theatre this summer.
The play, consisting of three subtly connected love stories, is written by David Eldridge and will be performed from Tuesday, 15th July until Saturday, 20th September 2008.
Freema Agyeman, meanwhile, has been cast as Tattycoram in the BBC Drama production of Charles Dickens' Little Dorrit. The novel is the latest adaptation of a Dickens novel by Andrew Davies, who previously adapted Bleak House and Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility.
The 15-part production began filming at the end of April and is due to be broadcast on BBC One this autumn.
