I have a specific question about Doctor Who and what is going to happen - or may happen - in the show?

We understand your eagerness to know exactly what's going to happen, but we can not reveal any crucial information regarding the future Doctor/cast/crew and/or the show itself. Most of the time we do not know ourselves. As soon as we do know anything, we will make an official announcement in the News section of the website.

I want to tell you what I think about the show / a particular actor / a member of the crew. How can I do that?

We appreciate everyone's personal opinions about the show and emails of this nature are often stored for the attention of key members of the production team, but due to the volumes involved we have to be selective and there's no way we can guarantee a response, unfortunately. For more info about contacting the BBC, please go this website.

How do I know Doctor Who is safe for my children to watch?

Doctor Who is a family show and airs before the watershed. All content therefore abides by the pre-watershed guidelines. If you wish to see how scary an episode may be, you can look at the Fear Forecast in each episode guide prior to airing or record and watch the episode yourself before letting your children see it.

Can I put Doctor Who on YouTube or distribute it via file sharing services such as Bittorrent?

No, this would be a serious breach of copyright. There is, however, official Doctor Who material on YouTube from BBC Worldwide:

Where is Doctor Who filmed? Can I visit the set?

Unfortunately, we aren't able to allow members of the public onto the sets (which are mostly based on-location rather than in the studio) when the series is being recorded. Unfortunately not! The amount of special effects used within the show would force the budget off the scale. Maybe in the future, but for the time being there are no plans.

There was an outfit in a particular episode. Where can I purchase one just like it?

Most clothes/costumes/outfits are created by the costume department. If any clothes are purchased from a high street store, they are usually tailored and altered to suit their needs. As the costume department is massive, it isn't viable to document every outfit used. I'm sure they costume department don't even know anymore! All we can suggest is looking for something similar, locally to you or on the internet.

We don't have any designs for it the Doctor's coat and it is made of specific furniture fabric which is not commercially available.

The glasses are specially made and hired from costume makers Angels. There are only two in the whole wide world! We suggest you take the attached picture to various opticians and see who can give you the closest match.

What trainers does the Doctor wear?

Fictionally, the Doctor's trainers are not meant to be any particular type, but do resemble a popular brand already available. If you wish to get similar ones, we're sure taking a picture of the shoes to your local sports footwear store will result in finding something close to what he wears.

I have a question about the continuity of the show and/or a storyline within it. Can you answer it?
