Plot and Continuity

Are the Time Lords really dead?

The Doctor is the last of the Time Lords. We've no details of any other survivors, including Susan, The Rani, Romana or Chancellor Flavia. Please don't email us about this.

What about the Master? How can he survive/come back?

Don't count him out - despite refusing to regenerate at the end of Last Of The Time Lords, he's come back from worse scrapes. However at this time there are no current plans for his return.

What exactly happened in the Time War?

That's a story which hasn't yet been revealed.

How many regenerations does the Doctor have?

Now that his people are gone, who knows? Time Lords used to have 13 lives.

Will this monster/character ever return to Doctor Who?

On Doctor Who, most characters can be revived for the show. If anything is going to be returning / revived we will inform you on the website as soon as it's been officially announced.

Is Captain Jack Harkness really the Face of Boe? Jack can't die, but the Face of Boe does. How come? How can he become Pregnant?

According to Russell T Davies, it's up to the viewer to decide if Jack really is the Face Of Boe. If he is, the Doctor never said Jack would live forever. Details of his pregnancy aren't known, but being a 51st century guy, I'm sure it's possible at some point in the future.

What were the Doctor's last words to Rose in the episode 'Doomsday'?

What the Doctor says is purposely omitted. This is to allow the audience to make their own mind up.

Will we see more of the TARDIS? How many rooms does it have?

You see extra areas of the TARDIS in certain episodes. The exact size or number of rooms is unknown, but we would imagine that there are quite a few.

The Doctor is a Time Lord, why doesn't he go back in time and save his race?

He can't, as this would go against his rules of time travel. As the destruction of Gallifrey has happened, it is now a fixed point in time. If he was to change its future the effects on the universe could be catastrophic.

Is the Doctor half-Human?

Yes, on his mum's side. It was established in the Doctor Who TV Movie; however purists tend to disregard this.
