Can I borrow or loan a prop for an event/local meeting/opening of a shop or store, etc?

I am part of a charity or know someone in need of charity. Can we...?
As I'm sure you can appreciate with a series as popular as Doctor Who we do receive a number of enquiries of this nature and unfortunately we simply do not have the resources to help directly in these cases. The BBC does, through the work of the official BBC charity Children in Need and the monthly appeals broadcast on our TV and radio networks across the UK, does all it can to support worthy causes, but unfortunately we simply do not have the resources available to take up single cases. We do apologise for not being able to help you on this occasion and wish you all the best with your particular campaign.
Can I have some free stuff to raise money for a good cause?
Unfortunately, because the BBC is funded by money raised through the television licence fee, we normally have to decline requests for prizes and donations, even for the most worthy causes. However I would like to take this opportunity to wish you every success with your fundraising efforts.
Can I be really cheeky and have some free stuff?
Sorry, we just don't have a supply of anything to send you.
How do I contact press and/or photo publicity?
If you're from the press, please phone 020 8743 8000 and ask for the Press or Picture Publicity department.
How can I make an official complaint?
Please visit BBC complaints.
