Classic Doctor Who

Where can I find out about the classic series of Doctor Who?

Is there a complete DVD collection of the classic series?

Unfortunately not, during the 60's and 70's the BBC erased old TV shows in an effort to be more economical. Every episode does exist in one format or another (audio, text, animated reconstruction), but the original footage is lost.

We have found one of the 100 odd missing episodes. Would you like it?

We certainly would. Please email us with any details you have.

Question:

Will there be anymore Photonovels? Why is there no Marco Polo Photonovel?

All available Photonovels are currently online and there are no plans for any more in the future. The BBC doesn't hold the right to reproduce the Marco Polo prints. We looked into it, but it was beyond our budgets.

Are the classic episodes being replayed on TV any time soon?

Not that we are aware of, possible by some cable/satellite channels.

Will there be any more eBooks?

There are currently no plans to release any more in the future.

Will the older eBooks be reissued for PDA's?

No, sorry. Although 'The Sands of Time', 'The Empire of Glass' and 'Nightshade' are available as eBooks.

Why doesn't the Realtime Webcast work?

We are aware of this error; it is connected to a technical change on one of our BBC servers which can't be altered. We are looking at transferring it into a different format and will get it back up live as soon as possible.
