Sontar-ha! Sontar-ha! Adam and Samuel chant along with the triumphant villains. The streets fill with smoke. Adam coincidentally starts to cough, much to the amusement of his parents. "Just smash the window!" yells Harry.

Donna's mum rescues Gramps with an axe! "After all that time!" sighs Samuel in relief. Harry cheers "Yay, Mummy saves the day!"

Clone-Martha types in her password. Samuel remembers how that worked in a previous series: "I bet the password's 'Buffalo'." Now Clone-Martha is accessing UNIT's mainframe. "Yikes!" yelps Adam. "That looks like a PDA," muses Samuel. "No, you can't have one," says Mum firmly.

"I like that one!" says Amy, pointing at Skorr. Harry looks at her in disbelief. "Good work, for a female," says General Staal grudgingly. "They're not very politically-correct," grins Adam.

Mum and Dad both say: "Ooh! It's Kirsty Wark!" Clone-Martha finally passes on the Doctor's message to Colonel Mace. "She's just saying that to cover it up," grumbles Adam. "But where's the real Martha? Is she OK?" asks Amy, concerned. Meanwhile, the Doctor gives Donna a TARDIS key. Her indifferent reaction amuses the kids.

The hypnotised Privates reappear. "They're like robots!" observes Samuel. But there are other things to worry about, because they've got bleeping devices. Samuel's shocked: "They're bombing the TARDIS!" "No, they're moving it..." reasons Harry. Adam's impressed: "Cool!"

Donna peers out at the Sontarans, who fail to notice her. Harry and Amy laugh at Donna's reaction. "Lucky the TARDIS doors aren't creaky," Adam thinks.

The Doctor thinks it's rubbish to be stuck on Earth like a human: "No offence" gets a laugh from the whole family. And Samuel has spotted something else: "The Doctor's noticed who Martha really is!" What gives that away? "He never says "avanti", he always says "allons-y"." "She's a clone," states Amy with authority, and gives "Martha" a hard stare.

Samuel groans at UNIT's formality: "I bet they're all going to salute him." Adam's puzzled: "What's DEFCON-1?" Dad groans: "What are they teaching kids in Political Science these days?"

"Woah!" shouts Samuel. Adam is astounded: "Was she watching properly? That was Rose!"

Much amusement when the Doctor confronts Staal over the video link. "Belittle" gets a laugh.

When the Doctor changes channels, the older kids debate which cartoon it is. "It's Tommy Zoom!" yell Harry and Amy simultaneously, and they laugh. Now the Doctor's giving Donna coded instructions. "Tell her to drive the TARDIS!" shouts Samuel. "You were teaching her that last week."

Luke amuses the family when he names Castor 36 "Rattigan's World". But they're shocked when Luke produces a gun and threatens his students. "He's really got some social problems," decides Adam. "He's a loony!" whispers Harry. Rattigan has even designed a mating programme!

Amy's unnerved by the gun. "Shoot me!" demands the female student, which greatly amuses Adam. Samuel's still watching Luke's gun warily: "He won't shoot anyone," he decides. "You're just sick," one of the students tells Rattigan. "Told you so," says Adam. "Definitely a loony," says Harry.

Amy asks "What's Dunkirk?" Harry shushes her and listens intently to the news. Donna makes a call. "How can she find the Doctor?" Samuel wonders. "She's dialling 118 118," suggests Adam.

Donna has faith in the Doctor: "Trust me, he can do it." Samuel agrees: "He's done it before." Donna is very moved by her call to Gramps. "More tears," notes Samuel sadly, "Donna cries a lot." Adam is sympathetic: "She takes it quite emotionally." Amy and Harry hold Mum's hand.

Clone-Martha tells the Doctor that the gas contains hydrocarbons. "Wouldn't that make it flammable, like petrol?" asks Adam. Then the countdown begins, and the Doctor's very cross. Harry leans forward anxiously: "Something bad is about to happen..."

"It'll be good to taste blood," announced the Sontaran. "They're going to eat them!" gasps Adam. Lots of countries come on line: "North America, United Kingdom, France, India..." Samuel says: "Germany must be too busy." The family start discussing countries with nuclear weapons. "Did they mention Israel?" asks dad. "Shush!" shouts Amy, trying hard to concentrate. But the launch isn't happening: "Eh-errrrr!" says Adam.

"Martha pressed 'No'!" declares Amy, satisfied that she worked out what happened. The Doctor asks Clone-Martha what she thinks. "How would I know?" she asks. "Because you work for them!" retorts Samuel.

We zoom down the corridor along with the Sontaran's laser bolts, and the soldiers tumble. "Such a cool shot!" breathes Samuel, impressed and shocked in equal measure. Poor Ross gets shot too, and the kids look disappointed. "Nooo!" cries Harry, "we liked Ross!"

Now the Sontarans are marching through the UNIT troops. "It sounds like LaserQuest!" decides Samuel. The hypnotised troops report for duty, but... "He shot them!" gasps Adam. The Doctor shouts at Mace and Amy begins to edge off the sofa... The countdown is halted again. Adam shares UNIT's frustration: "That must get really annoying after a while!"

Alistair's stranded in Peru. "Ooh, the Brigadier!" says Adam. "He was with the Third Doctor, wasn't he Dad?" asks Harry.

Luke manages to activate the teleport just in time. "Woah, he's smart!" grins Adam. Luke sobs on the floor of his Academy. "Is he laughing?" asks Samuel. "Obviously not," Adam replies. "Well, he is a strange boy," suggests Samuel. "Loony," restates Harry, unsympathetically.

"The Doctor knows his own phone number!" grins Samuel. "Why does the Doctor have to borrow a mobile phone?" wonders Dad. "Because he's really old," say Samuel as though that explains everything. "He's over 900 years old."

Amy's very nervous for Donna. "How will Donna hit the probic vent?" asks Adam. "Throw the phone," suggests Samuel. "Or use that conveniently-placed hammer!" laughs Adam. "Or the mallet!" points Samuel in delight.

Harry wills Donna on. "You can do it..." Donna dispatches the Sontaran! "Night-night!" laughs Samuel. Donna has three fingers. "But she's got five fingers!" complains Amy. Adam and Samuel make Mr Spock hands at each other.

The Sontarans march past Donna. "Luckily, Sontarans never turn round," notes Adam. "That's because they have very stiff necks," says Mum. UNIT now have bullets with a steel coating. "Are you my mummy?" asks the Doctor. The whole family laughs - except for Amy who looks worried that the gas-mask monsters might be in this one.

The Colonel's speech impresses everyone. Samuel chews his nails. A big cheer for the Valiant! However, Amy's looking even more worried. "Isn't that the Master's spaceship?" "Wahey!" grins Samuel. The fans clear the area in double quick time, and the boys love it! Then battle ensues! "The Sontarans are losing!" yells Samuel in delight. "And if they fall backwards, they'll bang their probic vents!" Adam points: "Aim at that one's head! He isn't wearing a helmet!" Dad looks at Adam cagily.

Hurrah! The real Martha is rescued. "The Doctor's always so sorry," notes Harry.

The kids don't know why their parents are laughing at the Captain Jack comment. Clone-Martha drops to the floor. Adam and Samuel can't decide whether this is a good or bad thing. Elsewhere: "You will face me, sir!" demands Colonel Mace when he locates Commander Skorr. Adam is more practical: "You idiot!" The family debate Skorr's reaction to his fatal injury.

Clone-Martha dies. "Awww!" says Samuel. Martha takes back her ring, and the boys look sad. Amy, however, breathes a sigh of relief now that the impostor is no more.

The Doctor tosses Luke's gun away, and the boys grin. "If you're calling him Dad..." explains Donna, and everyone grins even more. The clone world is born. "Wowww!" gasps Samuel. The older boys fake a coughing fit. Harry and Amy are distressed that Donna's Mum is crying and her Dad looks helpless.

The Doctor creates an atmospheric converter and sets fire to the poison sky. 'Adam was right!' yells Samuel. "Wow, the Doctor made that really fast," says Harry, impressed. But Adam has a fresh worry: "Do you think that will create a lot of carbon dioxide?"

Captain Price kisses Colonel Mace. Amy smiles warmly. Harry cringes "Ewww!" Samuel thinks it's hilarious. Adam says: "Random!"

Uh-oh, the Doctor's saying goodbye. Martha tries to reason with him. Samuel joins in with her, suggesting alternatives that won't get him killed. The family debate why the Doctor must give the Sontarans a choice.

The Doctor confronts the Sontarans aboard their ship. Amy and Harry are on tenterhooks, expecting the worst...

Luke does something clever. "Wahoo!" yells Samuel. "Sontar-ha! Good man!"

The Sontaran ships disintegrate. The boys cheer! Adam remembers previous explosions above the Earth: "I wonder if it will start snowing?" Amy nods with satisfaction as Donna thumps the Doctor. In the streets outside: "They've still got ATMOS in their car!" notes Adam. The driver peels off her sticker. "Oh," says Adam quietly.

"Isn't Martha going with them?" asks Harry. Amy looks disappointed. Then the TARDIS doors slam! "Uh-oh!" say Adam and Samuel. And there's something familiar on the TARDIS floor... "The hand in a jar is going insane!" shouts Adam. "It's another cliffhanger!"
