Review: Good read or ill fated?
In the latest of our Doctor Who novel reviews, we asked the pupils of St Francis of Assisi Catholic School in Crawley for their views on Sick Building, by Paul Magrs.
Here's what Shabaz, Anthony, Dhillon and Ruben had to say.
What is the story about? (Spoilers)
Dhillon: In the story Doctor Who Sick Building robots do everything for you.
Ruben: The robots turn against the people who live in the marvellous house.
Shazbaz: My favourite part is when the robots say "we are fully authorised to kill."
Anthony:and when Solin says "I want to kiss you" to Martha.
What were the characters like?
Shazbaz: In the book my favourite character is Solin because he is funny in the way he speaks to Martha - especially when he wants to kiss her.
Ruben: My favourite character is the Doctor because he has great tools that he uses.
Anthony: My favourite characters are the robots and Solin.
What did you particularly enjoy/like about Sick Building?
Ruben: Its frightening to think of the Claw eating up the whole universe.
Dhillon: I would like a robot that would do all my work for me.
Shazbaz: An excellent book to read.
Is there anything about the story that you didn't like?
Dhillon: This book is very challenging and has difficult words.
Anthony: Quite hard to read.
Shazbaz: It is quite challenging.
What did you think of the story as a whole?
Shazbaz: I would recommend this book.
Ruben: Sick Building is very good and exciting.
Dhillon: I would recommend this book.
