Series Two DVD is an accessibility first for Europe.
The new Doctor Who DVD box-set is pioneering new audio navigation technology to help blind or partially sighted people navigate around the disc menus without needing to see the screen.
The Royal National Institute of the Blind has given its seal of approval to the set, which is the result of the RNIB, BBC and publishers 2Entertain working together to develop a new gold standard for DVD talking menus.
Their Stuart Snaith said he was "extremely proud to be able to offer the audio navigation feature on the Doctor Who box set DVD. This is something we're very keen to explore further."
