Casting update

Another new name announced for series three.

Thelma Barlow, perhaps best known to viewers as Mavis from Coronation Street, will be guest starring in an episode of series three of Doctor Who.

All we can reveal for now is that she'll be playing the character of Lady Thaw. As for further details, well, we don't really know...

As well as Coronation Street, Thelma has also appeared in series such as Dinnerladies, Marple and Doctors, and films including Mrs Henderson Presents.
