Noel natters to DWM

Noel natters to DWM

Meet the Doctor's latest travelling companion.

Actor Noel Clarke drops by the DWM offices for an exclusive photoshoot, and chats about some of the changes in store for Mickey Smith.

"Mickey has a lot more to do this year, besides being the new companion. Mickey gets sexy in this series!" Noel promises. "By the last time you see him in this series, he's a completely different person from the Mickey that got stuck to the wheelie bin in Episode 1."

Also interviewed is writer Toby Whithouse, who chats about bringing back Sarah Jane Smith and K9. And Production Notes this issue come from one James Goss, who reveals some special new projects for the Doctor Who website.

There's more casting news from the Gallifrey Guardian, a feature on Big Finish productions, a look at just why the 2005 series was so popular in Scheduled for Success, and the conclusion to the latest comic strip adventure for the Doctor and Rose.

Plus, the magazine comes with a free CD containing a complete new Doctor Who audio adventure starring Sophie Aldred, Nicola Bryant, Philip Olivier and Caroline Morris.

DWM is on sale on Thursday 2 March.
