We finally started receiving Doctor Who in the U.S. (been hooked on it ever since it's been being broadcasted). And I must say, this is a fantastic little set-up you've got going here. I was drawn onto this page in awe of being able to get some decent video clips, if only interviews, on my cell phone. Now I won't have to worry about bringing my Video iPod. Again, great job here.

chpsauce
wow, these are so cool, I would consider going out and buying a video fone just so i could watch doctor who vids on it!!

PJ
why are the trails and tardisodes limited to 3G phones and PC? Why can't they be downloaded to Video iPod as well?

Steve Hood
Brilliant works great on my phone The kids love it

Angharad ( cardiff

Hattie G
great idea i never get bored now!

Stew
The files for video ipods also work fine in iTunes if you don't have a video enabled ipod. Especially nice to see the Coming Soon video again. Confidential would be nice next series, along with the episode commentary podcasts I hope we'll be seeing.

Jasprit
Fantastic, best thing since the beginning of time! I am the envy of all my friends - it only works on my phone! yay >.

Kaba
The 3GP is great and it works on my phone fine! You should make more like this :)

Hannah 12,Worcester
Fab ,I loved them all!

graham
can we have them in mp3 please? i cant play them on my ipod

Woodie
Fantastic! The interviews are OK, but the trailer has whetted my appetite. Series 2 better arrive soon. If this trial is successful, I wouldn't mind seeing some Red Dwarf clips in 3G - Jozxyqk anyone? Or The Rimmer Song?

Gareth
Just a thought... I can set these files as a screen saver on my Nokia. If the opening credits were made available as a video file, without sound and an episode title, I could set it to be my mobile's screensaver instead... would that be possible?

Bruce, Fareham
Downloaded the trailer and watched it on my PC, then put it on my Motorola 220 only to be told "image too large" - how disappointing - any ideas?

Neil Hogan
You mean I don't have to convert the trailers myself anymore? That's fantastic! Now if we could only get entire episodes in that format for download... (They *do* fit on 32MB vid phones) Maybe the site could also create some really small file sizes of trailers (about 20k) so that they could be sent by sms (viral marketing!) In any case, great work. We'll never need to visit other Doctor Who sites again!

Si Bermann
Actually very good. Jolly good show, what what!

Paul Castle
never mind the trailers, how about a Doctor Who game for our phones? I'm not interested in buying the video game in the shops, but a version for the mobile would be ideal as I could play it on the bus without looking geeky.

Kemal
My psp doesn't use the file format your using

Heather Coe
Great, more please of the same, love the David Tennant one, works on my ipod.

Nixi,13, west mids
waaaa! it wont work for me! I dont know if a motorola v500 can have videos though because i really would the trailers on my phone!!

Richard
Thanks 'Speedy' for the Mac advice. I tried what you said and it worked fine. Great idea BBC. Thanks. -Richard, Australia

SEan n
brilliant! pity doe i don't have any of that stuff

Dalek 2006
I've got a few of these on my mobile, I think they are a good idea. WELL DONE BBC! again

Chad Bronson, Doctor Who Fan.
I am a new phone user and a big fan of Doctor Who. I cannot seem to download these clips to my phone. Do I activate my Infrared or something? PLEASE specify how it works!!!

Jeff
Can you put these on an FTP server- Quicktime refuses to allow me to save these files- they can only be played in Internet Explorer!!

Robert Cyberman
These are awesome, would be nice if you could do versions of the webcasts for phones. Scream of the Shalka would be wicked on my phone

Jessica
Fanastic! Thanks BBC! I think you desverve first place in the intergalactic fair of jiggery-pokery for this one! ;D

Ashleigh
These are great! The quality is better than I thought it would be on my 3G phone. Yet again BBC you've pushed the boundries for us Whovians! Thanks!

Mark Pattison
The battery on my mobile has run out from watching Doctor Who teasers rather than making calls. Superb!!

Jeff
Cant 'save as' Quick Time jumps in and plays video without allowing me to save. Help!?

Barney Leigh
GREAT! I've downloaded the Series 2 trailer onto my phone, but I downloaded it onto my apple computer, and it won't allow me to access the video! But I can hear the audio! If I want to see the video, I'd have to buy a whole new version of iMac! But, the video's are EXCELLENT! PLEASE GIVE OUT MORE!

bill
I got it 2work :0)) thanks speedy u r a star. BBC keep it up would be good to see more thanks XXB

Dalek Widow
I got my video iPod a couple of days ago and this is the first video download I've put on it. I downloaded the S2 trailer and it's ACE! Why not make some exclusive series 1 preview behind-the-scenes reports available via download...? If it's good enough for Peter Jackson.......

PJ
Surely video podcasts must come next? Past episodes? Confidential? Trailers? They look stunning on the new video i-pod

barney
FANTASTIC

Amy
Looks brilliant, can't wait to download them and (hopefully) get a video iPod sometime soon so I can watch them not on my computer.......but I spend enough time on there anyway...... Good work, keep it up!!!!!

jake how
i downloaded 3g comeing soon on my phone and i thort it was wicked and i think you should be able to pay and download episodes.

Hello Me69
This is EXTRAORDINARY!!!!!! I just want to download it a TRILLION TIMES!!!! Could you make some clips with Daleks in them?

Gavin Barrie
I just downloaded the MP4 trailer to my Mac. It absolutely IS a standard MP4 file, it uses AAC audio and H264 for video. Might be that your phone can't play H264 video. Change the file ending to .mp4 or .mpg, resend it to your phone and try again, or use your computer to convert to 'basic' mp4.

bill
it dose not work!!!!! just come up with a long page and lots of funny text :0(

Speedy
Just a geeky comment for your Mac fans - you might want to add "if you don't have a 2-button mouse, press the alt/option key and then click." Otherwise, clicking or clicking and pressing fn or Apple or ctrl just starts the video playing in another window. Good for you - this is definitely the wave of the future. Just keepin' it real, BBC.

Dale Who
3G Who! Brilliant idea... thank you!

Katie
FANTASTIC! On my iPod immediately :)

Ian
Great idea, downloaded with excitement, doesn't work on PSPs :-(

Andy Orchard
These videos are as the doctor would put it "fantastic" outstanding quality. More need to be made!

James Whittington
Downloaded no worries to my Nokia 6630. Now I have Who on the go, cheers

Gray Symms
I just love having that "Coming soon..." trailer on my phone, perfect for cheering myself up a bit when I feel a bit down.

martin
fantastic!! give us more!!!

Michael Brennan
Good Quailty video! Been waiting for these for ages!

anon
Wow! This is amazing! The coming soon bit is mine...

Tim Austin
I downloaded the "3G" file (in reality known as a 3GP file - standard format of video messages). Worked nicely, downloaded quickly. I'd recomend you to try posting further content (Confidential?) for phone download. It could catch on!

Samuel Spencer
How about the theme titles, or confidential?

Tom R
Converted your M4V files to MP4 using a codec converter. They play fine now, as long as you get the picture size right for your paritcular mobile. Thanks BBC for the lovely series two trailer for mobiles.

Sean
Great, lets have more,,,

Richard Hanson
This is FAB, I can watch the 2nd series trailer whether i go now.

Jack B
Wooo-hoo! This is great! Fantastic! People are always impressed with Who content on my phone at work - now I can show them how brilliant Season two is going to be! Quality and sound is great in my Nokia 62301, guys!

Lk
What A brilliant idea! I cant wait intill this gets downloaded on my phone! thanks

Kevin Swinbanks
These are excellent! Great idea. More please. Can now spread the Doctor Who message by video wherever i go!

David Owen
well done! they are very good

James Slayton
Might be nice to have the opening theme and closing themes available. I understand that for copyright reasons, that may not be possible.

Adam Bowie
Pretty good. But how about a version for PSP. I know they make video encoding difficult, but if you can do MPEG4 for video iPods, then it's not too much of a stretch to also do a PSP version. And it could be in widescreen too!

William
Its a nice and generous feature but they have been on the website since Christmas and a lot of people would have already seen it.

Trevor Donnelly
Fantastic! Please please make this a regular video podcast so that we can subscribe to it rather than fiddling around with one download at a time. Go on... you know it makes sense!

Tom, 29, Liverpool
The MPEG4 files aren't. They're MV4's- which won't play on my mobile. Can we have proper MP4's please? Otherwise, great clips! Thanks BBC.
