The premier US Doctor Who convention wows the fans.
This year's Gallifrey One once again proved the convention's reputation as America's finest.
Held in LA between 13th - 16th February, the fifteenth Gallifrey One convention catered particularly well for McGann fans. The Eighth Doctor spoke on three panels about his experiences making the TV movie, Shada, and audio adventures. He also brought back old memories by posing in front of the TARDIS with Seventh Doctor Sylvester McCoy.
Janet Fielding (Tegan) was also on top form, and proved deliciously comedic when making sure she was the, rather than a, favourite companion of one audience member.
Blake's 7 Paul Darrow revealed a secret passion for Footballer's Wives to us, as well as explaining why he has left the proposed new Blake's 7 series.
Other guests included India Fisher, who must be congratulated for attempting to explain the concept of shake and vac advertisements to an American audience.
DWM's Clayton Hickman announced that Russell T Davies is set to write the first new Doctor comic strip and that he's unlikely to release any Second Doctor graphic novels.
We also took to the stage with Paul Cornell to engage the audiences sympathies with the story of the problems involved in producing the Scream of the Shalka and explain the future of the webcasts.
All the attendees we spoke to said it was the best convention they had attended for ages; well-organised, well-scheduled and well-signposted. And Gallifrey One was fun for attendees and guests alike, with many of the stars socialising into the early hours.
