Adam (13)
(1) Happy smiles. Doctor Who and his chums are exploring and having fun. Samuel jigs and dances to the funky music. Off-screen Adam laughs at Rose kidding on-screen Adam that she knows what's going on. "She's the hero instead of the Doctor!" Amy laughs at Adam's faint: "He's so silly!"

(2) Big grin from Samuel at "He's your boyfriend"/"Not any more"

(3) Big laughs at "stop nagging me" and "Look at me I'm stupid."

(4) Adam slightly scandalised when the Doctor fiddles the cash machine. "He robs it!" But gets more excited when the psychic paper makes a reappearance.

(5) Harry, Samuel and Adam greatly amused to see the Face of Boe again.

(6) The frozen face appears. "That's more scary than in Dalek," decides Samuel, who seems to have made a special effort to memorise the name of each episode. The kids are very uncertain of the Editor, too. Amy decides it would be a good time to get a large book to read, just in case.

(7) The appearance of junk food makes both boys perk up, until -"Uurrgh!" The Slush Puppy is beef flavour. Adam not impressed by his light-fingered on-screen namesake. "He pocketed Rose's phone!" Amy is delighted for a different reason - "Doggy!"

(8) Samuel a bit bored and distracted throughout the "management" exam, except...

(9) ...Adam and Samuel go "wow!" when the woman's head opens up. Eyes widen in amazement.

(13) Suki has arrived on floor 500. "There's something about this place," ponders Adam suspiciously. "The walls are not made of gold. It's been abandoned." Samuel appears to have been doing some Dr Who homework: "There's only one Doctor Who enemy that likes ice..." But then he can't decide which one it was. Harry starts to chew his thumbnail thoughtfully. Amy clambers onto Mum with her book.

(15) A blue skull! That made 'em jump!

(16) Very unnerving. Harry's onto a three nail nibble while Amy's eyes peer out from over her book.

(19) Harry - "The Doctor's wrong! There are aliens on board. That thing on the ceiling. And the Doctor's an alien, too!"

(20) Harry is agog.

(22) Samuel worried about on-screen Adam. "They've sent him to Floor 16 - to be fiddled with!" Off-screen Adam is even less impressed with his on-screen counterpart: "Adam is a bit evil, isn't he?"

(24) Surgery scene. Harry's very worried by this and is subconsciously shaking his head. Amy reads her book intently, occasionally daring to peek out from above the pages.

(28) Samuel clicks his fingers at the screen. "It's not working!" He is evidently disappointed that on-screen Adam's head hasn't magically popped open. He eyes off-screen Adam's forehead thoughtfully.

(29) Frozen puke. Harry grimaces. Amy says 'Yuk!'

(31) The huge monster is revealed overhead, and Samuel decides he needs to sit on mum's lap. After a moment, he feels brave enough to observe: "It looks like melted chocolate - with teeth!" Dad licks his lips: "Mmm, I could just get my teeth in a chocolate whirl." Samuel is not amused: "It's really scary. This is a 12A!" "Don't look up!" Harry advises our heroes, but they pay him no heed. Max is revealed. "He's huuuuge!" observes Harry.

(32) Adam decides: "That alien is freaky. It's like something from a video game." (This is high praise.)

(35) The Doctor is tortured. Adam chews in agitatedly on a biro. "Tell me who you are" insists the editor. Harry's now onto a full, five fingered chomp. Amy, seeing that Mummy might be a bit scared, endeavours to distract her by holding the book over her face..

(36) "What the hell's he done?" shouts the Doctor. Samuel thinks about going back to his seat, changes his mind, goes back to mum. "You and your boyfriends!" yells the Doctor. Samuel cuddles mum.

(38) One hand is no longer enough. As the story rushes to its thrilling climax, Harry's on a ten nail munchathon. Amy's got the story sussed. She points at Max - "That's the baddie, isn't it Mummy?" There's relief all round as the monster explodes and the female guest star survives.

(39) Adam engrossed as sparks fly and our heroes are free.

(40) Samuel has found his way back to his seat. Then the Jagrafess looms over the Doctor, all teeth and whirls, and Samuel jumps back away from the screen.

(41) The boys are delighted to see Max the alien explode everywhere.

(43) Despite Adam learning that that his hero had feet of clay, he is still disappointed to see him go. "I thought Adam would last longer," he says, wistfully. Samuel doesn't seem to care, as he is too busy clicking his fingers to get on-screen Adam's head to pop open in his living room. And when it works: "Ooh, you can actually see his brain!" Big laugh from Harry as Adam's Mum clicks her fingers. Amy doesn't get the joke, but laughs along anyway.

(44) As the credits roll, Adam and Samuel both do their "being sick" impression. Fortunately, there is no vomit on the carpet, frozen or otherwise.

(45) The monsters from the next episode appear. "Wow!" say Adam and Samuel. "That was the scariest one yet!" says Harry "And next week's looks really, really exciting!"
