(1) "I like this song" says Amy, as Slade play in the background.
(2) Suddenly, here's the TARDIS! "What a great beginning!" says Samuel.
(3) The Doctor's breath appears to be yellowy-orange. "Oh dear," says Adam sagely, "that's space-time vortex."
(4) Big smiles when they learn that the pyjamas belong to Howard from the market.
(7) Santa attack! "That's not the real Santa, is it Daddy?" Amy enquires, concerned. Dad reassures her. "Good shot, Santa!" laughs Samuel.
(8) "No-one's noticed that the Doctor's barfing out yellow gunk," notes Adam.
(9) The killer Xmas tree gets big laughs from the kids.
(10) "I just love the sonic screwdriver!" says Harry.
(12) Amy thinks the new Doctor is "very rude".
(13) The Doctor warns "Something's coming!" "A great big Christmas pressie!" suggests Harry. Amy nods enthusiastically.
(14) Rose and company jump back away from their TV at the scary Sycorax. So do Adam and Samuel! But Amy just laughs out loud - she was more scared by the sharks.
(15) From dark, expensive cars emerge important looking people emerge. Harry studies them closely. "It's OK, I don't think any of them are fat enough to be Slitheen".
(16) The whole family laughs at "Harriet Jones, Prime Minister."
(19) Harry is concentrating hard on the plot. Amy is concentrating hard on getting a sweet off the Christmas tree.
(19) "The old Doctor wouldn't do this," we hear. "He would if he was suffering from the time vortex," Samuel snaps at them.
(24) Amy disapproves of what some silly people are doing on the edge of tall buildings. "That's dangerous, they shouldn't do that."
(25) "Gosh, I'm A positive," says mum. Adam and Samuel look shocked.
(29) A giant spaceship appears! The Gherkin explodes! "Ooh! Aah!" shout Amy and Harry. "Woohoo!" yells Samuel. It's like fireworks night all over again.
(30) The ship travels high over the London landscape. "That would be a scary episode of EastEnders..." says Adam. Samuel immediately does the drumbeat "dum dum dum" ending.
(31) The Sycorax - "There are millions of them!" notes an astonished Harry. Amy makes for another sweetie.
(32) Amy is concerned that it's the middle of the day yet the Doctor still has his pyjamas on. These thoughts are rapidly forgotten as some very scary executions take place. It's cushion clutching time!
Adam is rivetted, "They're worse than the Daleks!"
(34) The TARDIS leaves without Jackie. "Oh, nuts!" exclaims Adam.
(35) Rose is grabbed by a Sycorax. Amy jumps!
(36) The kids watch nervously as tea fizzes in the TARDIS
(37) A big cheer from Harry as Raxicoricofallipatorius gets a mention! Adam and Samuel are greatly impressed by Rose.
(38) It's all very tense!
(39-41) The tension is relieved as The Doctor emerges and takes control. Harry and Amy love him. Rose may still have her doubts, but the kids are convinced he's the genuine article.
(41) A big grin for "Am I ginger?". Adam and Samuel are on the edge of their seats.
(42) Blood! "Yuk!"
(43) The Doctor insults the Sycorax leader. "Did the Doctor just say a rude word?" asks a surprised Harry. "I think that's swearing!" agrees Adam. Amy grins at the Time Lord's naughtiness.
(45) His hand's off! No-one was expecting that! The kids are scared once more!
(46) And his hand's back again! "That's magic!" whispers an admiring Amy.
(49) The Doctor dispenses with the Sycorax leader. "He's killed him with an orange!" breathes Adam, amazed.
(51) "What's Torchwood?" enquires Harry. "It's like the Death Star," Adam says helpfully.
(53) "Why is the Doctor cross with her?" Amy asks as the Doctor falls out with the PM.
(54) "This is a good song too.. What is it?" Mum and Dad don't know. Gasps from Harry as the TARDIS' wardrobe is revealed.
(56) Harry crosses his fingers and wishes "I hope Mickey comes along this time". "Me too" sighs Amy. Mickey's her favourite.
(57) COMING SOON: Everyone is thrilled.
(60) The preview tape has just finished. Adam looks nervously at the corner of the living room and says to his mum: "Where did you get that Christmas tree?"
