With the launch of TARDIS, the new Adventure Game, we felt this week's Step Back Time should be a moment featuring the famous blue box.
So we've slipped back to 1972 and a story called The Curse of Peladon. It begins with the Doctor believing that he's repaired the TARDIS which had previously been put out of action by the Time Lords. However, things are not as they seem. Not only has the craft been directed to the planet Peladon by the Time Lords, but it's landed precariously and no sooner has the Doctor set foot on the inhospitable alien world, than he's plunged into danger...
The Curse of Peladon features the Third Doctor and Jo Grant, played by Katy Manning. She rejoins the world of Doctor Who in the next series of The Sarah Jane Adventures. Find out more about her return.
