Kate was a real cow to her, just wasting her time on that task with the awful Phillip. She should have been in the final or even Debra, but definitely not Kate. If you ask me she should have gone along time ago. Yes she's not bad but there has just been way better in the apprentice this year. Also why is it she keeps slipping in to an irish accent now and then, has anyone else noticed this? You should be proud of you achievements in the show and in life.Good luck in the future - I know you will find success in whatever you do.All the best. 'Cassandra' did end up being quite likeable, down-to-earth and honest. I admired the way she stood up to that slime-ball Ben, and for having the guts to mention the schmoozy relationship he was having with Kate. Good on ya Lorraine, you entertained us for a while at least! Sometimes she hits the nail on the head and other times she seems to be deliberately irritating. If she goes on about her "instinct" again tonight I'm going to scream into the nearest cushion. The last few times her famous instinct has been wrong, so leave it out now, love. That dreadful cat craft thing she chose last week was a classic example of why she doesn't have the business instinct; Kate's jacket and chip maker were inspired choices, just a pity that Howard and Lorraine couldn't sell. She has more than once been brow-beaten by the rest, when she actually had it spot on! Lone parents have to be multi-taskers, time managers, budgeters, practical, good communicators...I reckon she'll win - good luck to ya!! Wed 03 Jun 2009 18:32:19 GMT+1 Your-Fired http://www.bbc.co.uk/apprentice/candidates/biographies/c_400007.shtml?page=18#comment159 If someone says don't underestimate them, then you shouldn't as they may just surprise you! People underestimate me too and when she says she is a slow burner in the thought process I know what she means as it takes time to think about something and see it happening before you go for it. And for that reason I think she'll win! But then again you never know who Sir Alan will fire or hire as my predictions always seem to be wrong. Lorraine just really annoys me, Like she says she's a slow burner in the thought process which arn't good qualities for sir Allens new apprentice. So personnally I think Lorraine should have gone instead of Howard, as her choice of products wern't good and she didn't do particually well selling them either on all the tasks, she relies to much on her so called " buissness sence" what a load of rubbish!!!!! Lorraine prepared to be fired next week!!!! That would be the equivalent of a Phd in the English education system. Yes she has had a tough background but so have many people who have stumbled their way into business. Yes that is right ,"business" so what i would like her to do is stick with business and not sob stories! However she seems to have guts and good intelligence. Good luck! (Only watched last 20 mins - footie)Her assessment of Howard and the task with regards Personality was correct. She clearly has good oratory skills and intellect and I expect her to apply them during the much anticipated interview stage. She really needs to go now before we hear anymore of this "I said that early on..." but did nothing about it. Boring. Sir Alan, what are doing????? Wed 27 May 2009 21:22:15 GMT+1 jackstar41 http://www.bbc.co.uk/apprentice/candidates/biographies/c_400007.shtml?page=17#comment149 Sorry posted last comment before I had finished....... Just imagine if we all had to be beautiful before we could be taken seriously on a professional level?? I wonder how many of us would be earning a decent wage??? Or any wage at all. Interesting thought.Anyway I am a firm Lorraine supporter and I really hope that she wins this. Good luck Lorraine and don't let the pointless comments get you down girl. Sounds like she's having a hard time (stories this week in various newspapers and mags)!?!. All she has done is entered in to "The Apprentice" not "Ms World" Wed 27 May 2009 18:30:05 GMT+1 zuchabar http://www.bbc.co.uk/apprentice/candidates/biographies/c_400007.shtml?page=16#comment147 I think Lorraine is a strong contender as she has impressed sralan so far and we all know that's pretty tough in itself. I do think she has had an unfair time of it with Phil bullying her like he did but she showed she had teeth in the boardroom, respect! She is perceptive (a Cassandra), clear thinking, honest, straightforward and humble enough to admit when she has made an oversight/mistake, making her a good learner. She deserves to be Sir Alan's apprentice.
