Hello everyone!
I brought a SCD cake to celebrate the start of the new series. It's supposed to be a chocolate Anton and Karen dancing on top, but the heat has distorted them a bit. They look more like Vincent and Flavia in one of their nearly impossible poses, all glued together.
Can't wait for the show to get started!
*cuts up cake; adds plates and napkins on second thought*
Please help yourself.
Can we find the contestants on these boards as well or are they still unknown?

Yay tis as good as the last time except the decoration is in need of a spring clean KHF

Posh and very purple! Will the white section grow with age? I feel like I'm about to be ribena-ed! It's late so I'll go and lie down to recover.

As the Hostess PROMISES that messages won't be ignored: here's a serious one...
In previous years, this website has included a database of places to learn to dance, organised regionally, all over the country. If you are a dance teacher, and happen to be in it, you get a bit of publicity for your business, and a share of the enquiries from people with an interest in joining a class or taking dance lessons. However, if you don't happen to be in it, there seems to be no way to request an amendment to the list. You can follow the "Contact Us" link, as I did THREE TIMES last year, once on the very day the site was updated for the new season, and twice again later, but never received any response of any sort. One of the bits of information I was offering was about the death (several years ago) of a teacher in my local area, who was still listed: but no one took any notice.
If the BBC can't spend a little time and research effort to make sure that such a list remains up to date (and allow for new entries), it shouold remove the list altogether. If it is years out of date, it isn't much use to anyone, and it is quite unfair to provide free advertising to one group of dance schools, and exclude another.
Some response would be nice.
Meanwhile, it's good to be back for another year, and I'm looking forward to next week's announcement of this year's line up.

Hello hello.
It is very very good to be back
I completely agree with your post Big Top, however I fear the Hostess isn't a Strictlyhost, therfore not official. I don't know how you could go about this other than to be like a dog with a bone and keep at them.
You could always write to the Beeb, but I don't know what the address is
