Hello there everyone, my name is nellie, I am forty one, married with two children,my son is a Drama Student and my daughter is a vey talented Dancer. Genealogy is my main interests. I came by this site purely by accident and hope that I might make new friends whom I can correspond with as regards Genealogy.
I am married to a Dance teacher, we have recently re-located and are in the process of finding new premises to set up a Dance School. With a little extra time on my hands, I have discovered the internet. I am very much an Novice at this, but it's fun!
In my spare time I am also attempting to write a book. My grandparents will take the lead characters, although I am having problems with my research into my Grandfather, very little is known about him. This is hindering me at the moment, hence I am using any means possible to try and trace his origins. I know his name, his fathers name, where my grandparents married, I have their Marriage Certificate and know they lived in Belfast and I have a vague idea of the time spent in Belfast, not much to go on really but I'll continue in my quest for my Ulster origins.
I would be grateful for any contributions, the geography of the area is alien to me, so any places of interest during the early part of the 20th century, before, during and after the first world war would be great.
Well that's a little info about me, hope to make lots of new friends and maybe I have some long lost relatives out there who might see this and contact me.
