Giant's Causeway, punk rock glory days, Espana '82 .... you've been sharing your memories of all things Northern Irish here on A Sense of Place. You've also captured your memories on film over the years and a selection of your home movies will be shown in a new BBC Northern Ireland series called "Super 8 Stories".

This four-part series on BBC1 presents, in brilliant colour cine-film, over 75 years of life in Northern Ireland, recorded by the people who live here. It shows not just the films, but shares the stories of those behind the cine-cameras. Catch the second half of the series at 7 pm on Sunday 14 December and at 5.45 pm on Sunday 21 December.

Sent in by people from all over the country, the home movies feature everything from the ordinary to the extraordinary. Trolleybuses, showbands, weddings and holidays, as well as Elvis Presley, Seamus Heaney, Mary Peters and Pope John Paul II have all been captured on film. Moving images of family immigration, christmas celebration and local football jubilation, as well as how the start of the troubles dramatically changed the lives of many here.

Now Super 8 Stories are looking for more footage for a brand new set of programmes to be broadcast in 2004. Here's your chance to have your home movies broadcast as part of this exciting series. No matter how simple the story or grainy the image, the producers believe every family has a home movie to show and a story to share - and they want yours.
