A Sense of Place has moved to a new home! This site is now closed to new contributions.

Regular visitors to this site will have noticed that over recent months, as well as the content you've been providing, we’ve also been featuring and expanding on stories that have been broadcast on BBC Radio Ulster’s Your Place and Mine programme. "A Sense of Place" has now fully merged with its radio cousin to create a multimedia experience, bringing together the strengths of the radio programme and the interactive website.

All of the content on "A Sense of Place" has been migrated to a brand new site called
Your Place and Mine .

We have completely redesigned the site which has a fresh new look and is easier to find your way around. We’ve created a much easier way of adding your articles and replies too.

One important thing won’t change it’s your website. It’s still about your stories and thoughts on events, characters and places in Northern Ireland. The new site will not be just a mirror image of the radio programme. Only selected radio articles will feature on the website. The two production teams will work closely together and our hope is that this relationship will bring an enriched experience for our users and listeners alike - that’s you!
