Jenny Day

Intro

Female, Mid Forties unashamed Whovian.

Main Sci-Fi influences Foundation Trilogy, 2001, Dr Who, Star-Trek TNG and Babylon 5

I will admit to liking just about all Sci-Fi and I have even written a couple of my own... one of which might even get published one day.

Dr Who certainly has a lot to answer for. It chose my university degree (Physics) and it drew me to work in Television (and more particularly in Archival Television) after university.

Currently I think the best of the crop is the 4400 on Sky. I was also a big fan of the sadly axed Dark-Skies.

Scariest EVER sci-fi - EVENT HORIZON - Very dark and sends a shiver down my spine just mentioning the name. I am ashamed to say this one scared me so much that whilst watching it after a few drinks with a friend I did something rather childish and embarrassing! John Carpenters Ghosts Of Mars is a very close runner up.

If you want a real fright do Watch them both! But make sure you have a friend to hold your hand or a sofa to hide behind...
