Star Trek: Deep Space Nine was the series which first got me into sci-fi. I came across it while watching BBC2 one afternoon, when I was about 14/15. I found that I really enjoyed it, and I began to watch it frequenty, branching off into the other series too, as time progressed.

From there others followed, everything from Star Wars and Farscape, to Battlestar Galactica (2003 version) and most recently, Dr. Who.
