Film: Twelve Monkeys .
Creator: Terry Gilliam, David and Janet Peoples, Chris Marker

Encapsulated. Would you recommend this? why?

Gilliam at his best - challenging, entertaining, and visually stunning.Superbly directed, edited, acted, and scored - a masterpiece of the genre.

Time and Space: When and where I first encountered it

by accident really - I had recorded the film off TCM I think when it used to be available available on freeview and watched it one night in a caravan in Scotland whilst on holiday - it blew me away...

Recollection and revelations

I love the music, the whole 'feel' of decrepit Philidelphia, that opening sequence...

Before this...

I love Gilliam's work - Brazil is a very underrated and very challenging film

After This

Brazil and Twelve Monkeys on DVD

I can watch them whenever I like !
