Indestructable

scar1958 writes about Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons

Gerry and Sylvia Anderson

1967

TV: Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons.
Creator: Gerry and Sylvia Anderson

Encapsulated. Would you recommend this? why?

Still living those days now, he was my first 'individual' hero, although I did admire Scott Tracy.

Time and Space: When and where I first encountered it

1967/8 - Nine years old, buying TV21, playing with the (clunky)Dinky SPV (still got it, but battleworn and boxless. Probably defending Scarborough from Mysteron attack, the blighters!!

Recollection and revelations

Followed on from XL5, stingray, Thunderbirds. Another superb piece of Tv for boys. Not much choice in those days.

Before this...

Thunderbirds

Simply incredible, futuristic but old fashioned, just FAB.

After This

UFO, Space 1999

Not quite the appeal for me, but still good in many friends eyes.
