Encapsulated. Would you recommend this? why?

Outrageously good 'Western in Space'. Similar quirky style to Buffy - characters you just love. Shame there's so little of it. Characters are great, the camera style new and story lines are fun.

Time and Space: When and where I first encountered it

I knew of the movie Serenity and loved that. I didn't realise that it came after the series Firefly. I was 32.

Recollection and revelations

My brother alerted me to it, loaned me the DVD which I didn't watch for weeks, then once I started I couldn't stop. Fox cancelled show halfway through 1st season. Fan support lead to feature length movie. This has inspired me to say how much I enjoyed this show in the hope that enough fans rise up and inspire a network (any network) to take the challenge and continue the story, as I'd love to see more of these characters and adventures.
