Scary as hell

Forest_Mist writes about Sapphire and Steel

PJ Hammond

1979

TV: Sapphire and Steel.
Creator: PJ Hammond

Encapsulated. Would you recommend this? why?

It scared me hugely as a child, but I loved it, and we used to play it in a "let's pretend" way at school

Time and Space: When and where I first encountered it

I was eight or nine and living in Fallingbostel, so it must have been on BFBS

Recollection and revelations

I know I watched this when it first came on - I would have been eight or nine. I can remember we used to play our own version of it at school - we would be "emerald", "jet" and "copper"! But bizarrely, the only bit of an episode I can remember, and it still scares me even now, is the one where the pillows stuffed with feathers came to life and attacked people!

Highly recommended
