Forget Superman!

rhys2_0 writes about Watchmen

Moore, Gibbons

1986

Comic: Watchmen.
Creator: Moore, Gibbons

Encapsulated. Would you recommend this? why?

It's the first comic I ever read without feeling gulity that I was an adult! Everyone should ready this, even if you are alien to the graphic novel format! I'm just hoping the film won't spoil it!

Time and Space: When and where I first encountered it

I was 19 and waited two weeks for it to be delivered at my local comic shop. It was more than worth the wait!

Recollection and revelations

Stayed up till three to finish it, then read it again the next day! Made me really believe that comic's can offer more than just steriotypical superheroes. It really adresses a realistic public reaction to the emergence of meta-humans.
