Nigel Kneale is God

darrenhf writes about Quatermass and the Pit

Nigel Kneale

1958

TV: Quatermass and the Pit.
Creator: Nigel Kneale

Encapsulated. Would you recommend this? why?

Probably some of the cleverest and tightest science fiction screenplay writing ever. Nigel Kneale, the world is a poorer place without you.

Time and Space: When and where I first encountered it

Saw the colour film first, but the TV show is way better.

Recollection and revelations

Man might have been born by alien intervention, his view of the devil is based on his image of the alien. These are all old ideas now, but they weren't so much then and they had never been presented as well as this.
