She sings in this awful harsh, grating voice so often these days. The songs seem drab and complacent. There is no innovation, nothing startling. Where is the wonderful piano work of her earlier albums? She seems to pay more attention to the "concept" behind each album than she does to the music - a very bad sign. Oh and that title - so smug. I take it that by "sin" she doesn't mean car theft or stealing from Tescos (it might be more interesting if she did). I'm so disappointed. I want to count the days to each new release, not wonder whether to leave it till it's 4 at HMV. Tori, you're a genius when you want to be - come back! Sat 05 Sep 2009 22:09:19 GMT+1
