Well, I'm glad I did as most of the rest of the album is fantastic - dark and soulful, echoes of Tori & Jeff Buckley, a MAJOR talent has arrived - she has the songs, the voice, the attitude (and, as a bonus, the look, too).Still not at all keen on the garage punk of KWAF, at odds with the rest of the album, and sells her far short, IMO. Dog Days Are Over is great, Howl, Drumming, and My Boy Builds Coffin too. But Kiss With a Fist is a weak track for me. Sounds like I heard it somewhere. Although 70% of this album is good to me, but she still need some more originality. Two song covers is too much for a debut album. Don't play safe.She has so much potential--and I agree with MrHallwood, she could be the next Kate Bush.I'll solemnly wait for her next album. She's the best thing in a poor market at this time. Saying that though, she is amazing and heads above a lot of mediocre bands who have listened far to much to the parents 80's music collection!
