I was on a bus going to Ewell Boys School from North Cheam .
From half way up the stair case I called out " fire fire". The conductor stopped the bus and everyone had to get off. He was not well pleased when he found us out. A report to the school from the Londond Passenger Transport Board elicited a severe punishent.
I think the bus number was 70 later to come the 93 which still runs today.
