It was in the early 60s, my friend's dad bought him a racing bike from Beswicks, it was £21.00.Also my first record i bought was Blue Angel by Roy Orbison, that was from Bestwicks across the road from Gerald Langley the greengrocer.What about Rettas the posh sweet shop and the Broadway cinema, oh such happy days.
