Born in 1920, went to Carlton street Secondary School. All I can recall is abject poverty during the depression relieved by 6 years in the army. After returning from abroad left Bradford for the South and eventual emigration to Canada wher what one can do counts for more than ones background/ Of course still love the Old Country that used to be
