Bad.
Bad for freedom of speech.
Bad for freedom of choice
Bad for honest and robust debate.
Good for the BBC control freaks and thought police.

Clearly bad. Though every ytear or so the BBC rip out a part of the boards that are succesfull, like the Great Debate set of boards, told them to come here instead, so they can now dictate the agenda as well as by moderation. It is why JSG was created back before the GD closures, when the end night posting was the curtailment of the year. __________________________________________ jamesstgeorge.proboa...

BAD.
If they go ahead with this when the only poster who thinks it's good appears to work for the govt, I think the Daily Mail will make a great story out of this. And for once, I'll agree with them.

BAD and repressive - 'Today' can easily gauge the existing zeitgeist from the current format and if they wish fashion programme content to reflect that

wwatcher: Sorry I have introduced a similar thread, almost simultaneously. I urge posters to visit it, as it proposes a compromise solution.
I think the BBC's proposed changes are BAD.
