ON YOUR KNEES FOR THE BRILLIANT GILO AND HOGGARD, AND LETS GIVE GERAINT JONES A FEW SLAPS IN THE HEAD FOR THE STUPID THING HE DID WHEN GETTIN OUT.

And being their while 199 runs were added, over 40% of the England total was added while Jones was at the crease.

his 85 was great no doubt, but that doesn't justify what he did as we could've easily lost the match after he went. good thing we won it otherwise the media wud attack him first.

Am not convinced by G jones at all but rec he may just about be in credit on this match alone. At this rate tho Bell is a better fielder than batsman...

Oh, is he supposed to be a batsman? laugh

Seriously, they're a team now. I wouldn't break it up for anything now, with just the one test left. Keep G. Jones, keep Bell...keep 'em all!!!

Geraint was so poor how he missed the stumping it was unbelievable and his handling was one big fumble. ding dong Bell should be replaced 3and3 not hot is it.
good close in fielder but you have got to do more than that.

well the good thing about geraint jones is that he is very athletic, but u cant guarantee that somebody else could do better than him, i'm only pissed becos of the fact that he gave away his wickets. and i thought his missed stumping was unlucky and it has happened to even the best, his catch was a difficult take, but still i think he's done quite enough to stay in the squad and lets not forget that brilliant catch in the dead end of the third test and his catch was the one that helped us win the second. people shud not forget that.

when all comes to all 11 guys won this match...some batting, some fielding and some bowling. it was a superb fighting team effort...the aussies are one of the greatest sides ever and took some killing off!! england are getting better as the aussies star is fading...we should have the ashes for five years now at least! after this it is churlish to criticise individuals for mistakes made under intense pressure and the weight of expectation of the country...these guys are not used to beating the aussies...yet!!!!!

Why should anyone have any reason to be critising any of the batsmen?
As far as i am concerned:
Ei, Ei, Ei, Oh
T'wards the Ashes here we go
When we win the Ashes this is what we'll sing
"WE ARE ENGLAND,
WE ARE ENGLAND,
VAUGHANY IS OUR KING!!"

Hello! This is my first post and I really hope I don't upset anyone! I just want to say the it was awesome and I was glued to the telly all the way through! I think it was the best thing ever what Giles and Hoggard did! I think it was silly what Jones and Bell did! It was human though what the did when you are under that much pressure with that much responsibility on your shoulders you do stupid things! I bet they didn't feel to good with themselves afterwards either! I suppose what I am trying to say they are just as Human as us and they can make mistakes! Anyways its over and done with now! England won despite those mistakes! I don't they should change the team either they've done well and any alterations may mess it up for them at the The Oval wich they don't want to do!
