As a Pakistan fan just want to congratulate England on a good performance. Batsmen battled well and the bowling was excellent, without big Freddie. Anderson and Blackwell did well. Saw Anderson was pitching it up more and was using the slower ball alot.

Well Done on an all round good performance.

It's nice to find a thread with such a pleasant vibe as this one. Although I'm sure that the end of a loosing streak for England makes the vibe seem even nicer for England fans (it does for me at least).

Thanks Ali. And congratulations (through gritted teeth) to Pakistan for clearly being the better team on this tour. I think that England and Pakistan are fairly well matched at the moment. They can both be very inconsistant although England seemed to have overcome that during the ashes tour. They obviously relapsed on this one and were outplayed. The return tour in England should be a great contest.

The Pakistan seniors were terribly irresponsible today. Both Yousaf and Younis were out to terrible shots. Pathetic!!.

Amazing yorker to Afridi. Kudos Anderson!

Thanks!! It was nice to end on a bit more of a positive note, but while you are congratulating us may I just say how great Pakistan have been to watch over these past few months. Truly amazing cricket smiley

Calm down, I think if this was the series decider, Inzi and Shoaib would have played and we Pakistan would have won AGAIN.

Well played England. Good fightback by the youngsters. My prediction of 3-2 going either way came true! Great series.. one to remember!!! Good luck with the Indian tour!

I blame Razzaq, totally useless, gets wacked for 19 off the last over then doesnt contribute with the bat, bring in Yasir Arafat or Azhar Mahmood.

I think if Inzi had played we would have won. He is known to stick to the crease in such situations and can play the ball around easily. Also he is very good keeping his partners calm. I believe he was the difference in today's match..however a loss is a loss! No excuses..! Hope we do well against India... Ill be in Karachi and might just go to see the test as there is one in KArachi this time..!!

As always the team that played better on the day won, congratulations to England!
Great effort from a depleted side at end of the tour to salvage England's pride. HIP HIP HOORAY!

A safe trip home for the visitors and best wishes for the well deserved holidays. Thanks for visiting Pakistan, better luck next time.

Well played Pakistan! Many thanks for a great series!

England were up against a second string Pakistan who had already won the series. They're still miles behind Australia.
