Spare a thought for those who paid good money to travel to the ODIs and saw that. Absolutely pathetic. No fight whatsoever. Bell was finally allowed to bat and top scored. Who knows how thing might have panned out had he come in at 3 or 4? And to field first on this pitch was unbelievable. I hope Trescothic apologises during his interview.

as i've said it before Pakistan is simply the best in One-Dayers.

it was all a one sided game.

congratualations to Pakistan team for their excellent batting and bowling.

there was no fight from England players, did not looks like the ashes winners.

As I said earlier ...

I'm sorry, but I don't believe there is any other thing you can say. There is no defence. So where did it go wrong? In the toss? Did Trescothick make the wrong decision to field or would this have happened even if Pakistan had not batted first?

Those people who said Trescothick should become one-day captain I also believe are wrong. More than that needs to be done to this team. It needs shaken up. England must now win the next one dayer to save their hopes.

Changes need to be made - todays game was nothing short of embarassing. I don't know whats happening - they seem to have lost concentration and oomph (for want of a better word). Has the tour been too long? They may as well come back now.

England must show the side they where on Saturday - a winning side. Currently it seems to be a Jeckyl and Hyde team. And India, well who knows? We certainly need to drastically improve for that. Lets just hope we have a complete team and no injuries.

So much for Vikram so-crappy. He is a bit player, somebody who accumulates. The team without Pieterson and Simon jones looks a bit short on style. Friedling aka Fridi made a comeback, and it was nothing short of spectacular. I understand the mentality that has people leaving the stadium after his dismissal. Who cares about the result? might as well watch South Africa with their workman like victories if that's your main concern. Liam Plunkett doesn't get people out so much as they get bored and decide to get out themselves. He's taken alot of wickets but hardly any looked amazing. Oh well, the proof is going to come when Pakistan go to England. It is easy to get excited when teams perform at home in the subcontinent. Cause at times that is the only place where they perform.

You may find that the original poster is English and was venting his frustration. You dont need to take your out on Pakistan! What would a Pakistani want a refund? We throughly enjoyed our teams performance.

Just noticed that Brian Lara took two wickets in that match.

That would have been like Inzy bringing himself on today.

Bell couldn't have saved that one. That was crap from top to bottom!! England fully deserve to be no.7 in the world after that performance!!!!!

I totally agree, i support india but i have been privelaged to see pakistan's allround performance today. they are getting better and better.for england i dont now what to say in the beginning of the series they are the hot favourites but now they playing to survive.by this time england players would be knowing why aussies are number one in the world, they are the players for all conditions sadly for england they are not...Well done Pakistan!!!!!the upcoming series aganist India will be great because India will be playing much better cricket than england aganist pakistan.

Just trying to add some perspective. I am a Pakistan fan. However, I don't want to fall into the trap that I feel Indian fans fall into all the time. India is on a roll, with victories over Sri Lanka and others at home. They start braying like donkeys about how great the Indian team is and how they are world beaters. Just don't want to fall into that trap. Pakistan has a pretty poor record abroad and I want to be the first to remember so i'm not crushed when the eventual return to earth comes, and I know it will come. The Aussies embarassed us only recently with a 3-0 test defeat in Australia. It was crushing!!!!
