1AmericanFan : well it's necessary to have a time limit so teams will try to force a result.it may actually be more interesting to have a limited no. of overs (say 115 overs each innings)and then we could have a result every match.but thats just my opinion.

my moment has to be saturday at lords when we had gone quiet and the lanc and two spitfires from the VE day parade turned sharply and flew over the lords-the whole ground stood and applauded. can't stop shaking and sobbing. but oh it makes me pleased to hear RP eat his words

seconded! though not sobbing just shaking

And that's what Cricket has over other sports. It's not overcommercialized with sponsor's names being mentioned every fifteen minutes or super 3-d Logos being spray painted on the pitch. It's honest competition, and sportsmanship. It's not someone pulling off their shirt after scoring a goal and waving their shirt around, or spiking the ball and doing a dance number after scoring a touchdown in (the other) football.

The shaking of hands and congratulations after Pieterson's wonderful innings and Giles's surprise was wonderful.

As for my fellow Yank, or at least someone claiming to be an American, for shame, guy, way to give us all a bad name. If you don't think Cricket is a game worth watching, why the heck are registering to post here unless it's to troll everyone into hating the Yanks to get your rocks off.

Who is going to try to explain the timeless test match that ended in a draw when they ran out of time?

And C4 is coming to an end with a bit of Mambo and some highlights.

What am I going to do with my life now? Four years is a long time to wait.
