petmax pet food makes two types of tinned catfood. vita is one type and contains 40% fish meal and 60% meat. catplus is the second type and contains 30% fish meal and 70% meat. Both brands sell in 500g tins. vita for 60p and catplus for 80p. they buy the fish meal at 15p per kg and meat at 20p per kg. At the start of production runt hey have 4000kg of fish meal and 6500 kg of meat in stock, and they wish to know how much of each brand to produce to maximise their profit from the day's production.
