I haven't got a clue how to work out a quadratic from a graph using the form y=ax squared! Anyone know how to work them out?

y = ax is the general equation.
They graph must give you another point or there must be a point in the question.
x = 1 and y = 4 in this point, so you substitute into the general equation.
y = ax
4 = a x 1
a = 4
So the answer would be y = 4a
