Dear Spring Watch team

We understand you have to shut down and sadly we have to accept that but how about a Summer watch and even a winter watch, nature doesn't shut down for the summer and winter.
Yours hopefully
Megalearner

Thank you for everything especially the swallows - they have been very funny and most entertaining! I note your comments about derigging and wonder if your next live events will be viewed with as much joy and wonderment. Next year you should keep the webcams going longer. Nature doesnt end to suit schedules and it's disappointing that your coverage will end before we have had a chance to see all our friends fledge.

Oh boy, I think I will feel like I lost and arm! Have loved every minute of these webcams, been a privillage to see how much time and effort these birds put into rearing there young. Just a shame we cant follow the rest of our families to the end. (Will we be to ask questions on the messageboard?) Would really like to find out the outcome of my favourite chick 'Tiny' the kestrel chick, gonna really miss shouting at my computer screen willing him on when it's feeding time!!

Just a big thank you for Springwatch and its wonderful webcams. Housework has been neglected -
but what a TREAT.

How can I learn more about the meanings of herring gull calls? Simon said that they are of interest -
what research is being done?

Yes to all the above - thank you Springwatch webteam. Just one problem: what shall I do while I have my night-time tea and biscuit with no Otter Bridge to watch? Back to the crossword I suppose!

Hi SWT, just wanted to say a massive thankyou for all the coverage, drama and info over the past 3 weeks.

Kate, Simon and Gordon have been as brilliant as ever and Martin has been a breath of fresh air. As for Chris, what can I say, WOW!, an inspired choice of presenter- so knowledgeable and captivating to watch.

I'm going to have a massive 1 and a quarter hour gap in my evenings from now on but at least it'll give me chance to put into practice some of what I've picked up over the course of the series.

Thanks again and see you in the autumn!!

I'd like to add my name to the list of thank you's here.

Everyone involved has done a wonderful job and I've loved every minute of it.

I'm really upset that the webcams (and the programmes) have to finish so soon but I do appreciate why you have to.

Looking forward to Autumnwatch and next years Springwatch now.

So thank you, all so much for all your hard work in making a truly wonderful programme and all the extras you do for us such as the messageboards and the website. And here's to many more programmes!

Many thanks

Thanks once again to the team for giving us all three fantastic weeks of Wildlife in action.

We have been there with you all as much as we can and I myself have learned plenty from watching the programmes and the webcams.

It would have been nice to have seen the otter on the River Cam but I have seen them in Scotland in real life and felt honoured that I could have got so close to this beautiful creature.

Anyway,it would have been nice to have had a Summerwatch and also a Winterwatch as I said in my message quiet some hours ago.

Hope you all have a great summer and be happy that you have given so many so much pleasure over the last three weeks.

Take Care
Kandyxxxxx

Springhwatch Team,
I would like to give you all my deepest gratitude.

You have been such a treasure. There are disabled people who cannot go out. Yet, you gave them so much pure pleasure, so much to enjoy in Britain.Thank you.

I can't wait for Autumnwatch and for Big Cat Diary.

Thank you BBC and Pensthorpe Nature Reserve.

Thank you.

I too would like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. I have loved having the webcams on constantly in the background when working - the sounds are so soothing. I came on here tonight after Unsprung and put on my favourite, the otter river one, and there was the most gorgeous pink sunset over the river. And then it went black. I have to admit I shed a tear!
Thank you so much for all your hard work - you have brought joy to many.

Love Meemow xxx

Take care and "until we meet again" bye for nowXX

Thank you so much for all your hard work over the last 3 weeks. Would it be possible to have links on the Springwatch website and/or BBC Nature to the other webcams out there set up by organisations such as RSPB etc.?
Autumn Watch soon!
