Hi, all good things must come to an end... We'll be closing both the boards down on Monday at midnight.
All your discussions will be archived so don't worry nothing will be deleted.
Finally, a word of thanks for all your wonderful posts this year. They've been challenging, interesting and entertaining.
Cheers.

Is there any chance of a reply to this question please? Why does this forum have to be shut down between shows? Is it because there is not the staff to moderate it? I know that a large amount of people would like this forum to be open all year round to talk about their wildlife experiences. Surely it can't be so difficult to leave it open.

When the old Science and Nature message boards were shut down, we fought tooth and nail to keep them: all to no avail.
And it looks like a similar thing is happening over at Points of View (except in S+N they did away with a host, so we had nobody to complain to!!!)

I think it would get a bit boring and predictable to have it going all the time and it's definitely something to look forward to each year. Thankyou to the BBC for making it a great show and a great forum.

I like the idea of a facebook group ...
been lots of complaints about the Bull on PoV boards ... tho no reason why that should be a reason for not going, of course!
