Will Young: pop star, actor, marathon runner and cheeky scamp.
When he was Simon Mayo's weekday Five Live show, he said he'd loved to be on Question Time and someone connected to that discussion programme phoned in and invited him on to it!
When he was a guest on Miranda Hart & Jon Holmes' Radio 2, he said he'd loved to have got an invitation to the forthcoming royal wedding.
I suppose a card is on its way, now.
I have never seen Jon Holmes, only heard him on The Now Show and other radio programmes.. Reference is often made to his diminutive stature but, as it is only on the wireless, he may be a towering giant of a man (or woman) for all I know.
Some things make very odd broadcasting, like juggling and ventriloquism.
Yesterday, on Act Your Age, ventriloquist Roger de Courcey spoke in a "normal" voice, then spoke between gritted teeth, which sounded quite odd. As one could not see Nookie The Bear, the routine was flawed.
